Teachmeet Fife 11

Fife held its first Teachmeet last night at Carnegie College in Dunfermline.

Organised by Olivia Wexelstein, Leona Tindall, Jenny Harvey and myself the event had around 70 in-person attendees and around 30 virtual attendees who joined the live stream via Adobe Connect.

Presentations included:

  1. pupils from Wellwood Primary telling us about their digital literacy projects
  2. Sharon Ollis on Outdoor Learning
  3. Val Kennedy on teaching alcohol awareness
  4. Nick Hood on literacy skills in science

There were several other presentations, which can be read about on Nick Hood’s blog, but as ‘technical support’ for the night I had my hands full most of the evening, so didn’t manage to catch all of the evening’s lineup.

Recordings of some of the presentations are available here:

  1. Part One
  2. Part Two

Thanks for posting the replays, Colin, and well done for handling the “fast balls” of deviant tech on the evening. I’ve updated my blog with the link (so my depute can find it). Loving the Adobe interface!
